Crane Drum
The Crane:
This drum is of the client’s spirt animal the crane. She wanted something to reflect the power of freeing herself from being stuck emotionally and the crane lifting off into the sky out of the mucky waters was the perfect symbol of her emotional freedom. On the outside of the drum the waves add both the symbolic pattern of movement and the stones and crystals were picked specifically for the client’s spiritual connection and protection as she is connecting with the energy of the crane. The monocromatic theme picked was to synchronize with the feeling of being subdued and calm while using the drum.This is the completed image of the crane and moon. I added bird feathers and some fur to the mallet and painted it to match.
